Helping women intentionally build and grow beautiful lives- together.

Hi! I'm Leigh Anne.

Let me introduce myself.

Life, Family & Everything in-between

  My Heart.

For many decades I’ve been involved in spiritual & life mentoring to women as well as life & business coaching and leadership coaching. I served at Reality Ventura Church since the day the doors opened 15 years ago and was on staff co-leading women’s ministry and Bible studies up until a year ago. In 2020, I started leading an initiative around helping women build wiser lives learning to take influence, support and encouragement from godly older women. I was inspired to build this framework and encourage women to work through their lives together because I was feeling more like a family crisis 911 operator when life had broken down instead of a life giving mentor on the front side of building a beautiful life to protect and preserve. And it grieved me. I stepped away from ministry to create Love What You Stand For to support building and preserving life.  I create resources and feature retreats to help older and younger women come together around key concepts to build life instead of tear it down with our own hands. To me, this way of connecting with other women throughout life is natural, intuitive and life saving.  I grew up in a world where women mentoring women and doing life together was as common as tacos but I’ve come to realize that I experienced a very special way of living and it is dying.  I’ve dedicated the rest of my life to collecting and passing down the wisdom, life and lessons my mentors have given to me while growing the culture among women for this kind of life to continue for many generations to come.

Today I am building new practices, courses and podcasts for Love What You Stand For as well as coaching life, leadership and business clients. Most days I can be found hiking trails with my dog Violet thinking about how I can pass on the tremendous love, life and lessons so many amazing women gave to me.

My Life.

I live in a little town between LA and Santa Barbara in Southern California with my husband of 30 years, Paul, and our three sons, Ty, Kaden and Grant.  And our dog Violet which is my only girl for now, but I sure hope to have 3 daughternlaws one day and many grandchildren! We live on a couple acres with a baseball batting cage and a surfboard shaping bay and a big field out front that I hope will one day be home to the horses and the barn I dream about! I LOVE being a mom to boys, it’s been the best thing of my entire life. Before I was a mom I worked for Chiat/Day, an advertising agency in Venice, California.  It was an incredible experience working on iconic brands with the best creative minds in the world.  I got stories for days from that time of my life. For the past 25 years I have been an assistant to a family and it has been the privilege of my life to have an intersting job and relationship with this special family while raising my own.

I love home and I try to be home to the people in my life prioritizing relationship and robust conversation around the table most every night.  I didn’t grow up knowing how to cook - I have made it a goal to learn to cook and I try and sometimes have to throw it out and pickup Thai food!  But most days I light the candles and turn on the music and we have a really good time around the table together. I’m a boy mom and I have found my place inside of this.  We are a big baseball family and most days you can find me watching my sons on the baseball field or watching them surf, or spending time on the golf course while the guys play.   You probably won’t find someone more crazy about their sons. I already know when they get married I will need to wear beige and smile!  I love hiking over the ocean and the beauty of California never ceases to amaze me.  I do a lot of mentoring girls up on trails of the Santa Monica mountains.  The girls I mentor are like daughters to me and I love them deeply from my heart.
